CES Has Been There From the Beginning:
CES has a proven track record in brokering electricity supply contracts
for its customers:
- CES has been supplying customers with electricity since the market
first opened on March 1, 2000.
- Since the market first opened, CES has brokered more electricity to Maine
customers than all of the other brokers and aggregators combined.
CES is Maine's Largest Electricity Aggregator/Broker:
CES developed and now manages all activities for the Maine Electric Consumer
Cooperative (MECC). In combination, CES and MECC provide electricity brokerage services to:
- Over 700 companies or institutions
- Over 1,100 separate electricity accounts
CES Delivers Value to Its Customers:
CES is in business to obtain low cost electricity for our customers at
substantial savings compared to what they would pay if they continued to take
service from their utilities under Standard Offer or what they could otherwise
obtain on their own in the competitive market. CES continuously "shops" the
retail marketplace on behalf of its customers to obtain the lowest prices for
electricity and contract terms that are favorable to its customers.

CES counts among our customers an impressive list of Maine businesses and
institutions. We have provided a partial list of our customers, which can be

represents only those customers that expressly gave us their permission to list them.
CES Focuses on Your Total Electricity Costs:
CES has helped its customers lower their cost of electricity by developing on-site cogeneration
projects, by negotiation reduced rates from electric utilities and by installing energy conservation
technologies and equipment.
