Energy Procurement

Contract Negotiations
Supplier off-the-shelf contracts are typically written in the supplier's favor.  Further, the full economic impact of the energy price is often hidden in the details.

In CES' role of representing our clients' interests, we pay particular attention to the definition of product types as well as the non-economic business terms.  We do not readily accept suppliers' off-the-shelf form contracts.  We:

  1. Review and negotiate fair and equitable business terms in the form of a CES-approved contract:
  • fair and equitable business terms
  • inclusion of all competitively priced ancillary service charges in the bundled energy price

      2.       Perform additional contract negotiations when appropriate.
